How To Stream Your PS4 To Your Android or iOS Device

A couple of days ago, Sony released remote play for Android, allowing players to stream their PS4 to their Android devices. Players can use their DualShock 4 controller or play with the embedded controller overlay. Android version 10 is required to connect your DualShock 4 over bluetooth. iOS version 13 is required for iOS devices.

Here’s a quick guide on how to get started with an Android or iOS device.

  1. Turn on your PS4
  2. Disconnect your DualShock 4 from your PS4
    1. On your PS4:
      1. Settings
      1. Devices
      2. Bluetooth Devices
      3. DualShock 4
      4. Disconnect
  3. Connect your DualShock 4 to your Android
    1. Hold the PS and Share buttons down simultaneously for 3 seconds
    2. On your Android:
      1. Settings
      2. Connected Devices
      3. Pair a New Device
      4. Wireless Controller
    3. On your iOS Device:
      1. Settings
      2. Bluetooth
      3. DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller
  4. Download the PS4 Remote Play App
    1. Launch the app and sign into PSN
  5. To play in fullscreen on an Android, enable auto-rotate and flip your screen horizontally. To play in fullscreen on an iOS device, disable screen lock, and flip your screen horizontally. The controller overlay still works in fullscreen, or you can use your DualShock 4.
