How To Stream Your PS4 To Your Android or iOS Device

A couple of days ago, Sony released remote play for Android, allowing players to stream their PS4 to their Android devices. Players can use their DualShock 4 controller or play with the embedded controller overlay. Android version 10 is required to connect your DualShock 4 over bluetooth. iOS version 13 is required for iOS devices.

Here’s a quick guide on how to get started with an Android or iOS device.

  1. Connect your DualShock 4 to your phone
    1. Hold the PS and Share buttons down simultaneously for 3 seconds
    2. On your Android:
      1. Settings
      2. Connected Devices
      3. Pair a New Device
      4. Wireless Controller
    3. On your iOS Device:
      1. Settings
      2. Bluetooth
      3. DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller
  2. Download the PS4 Remote Play App
    1. Launch the app and sign into PSN
  3. Play in Fullscreen
    1. On your Android:
      1. Enable auto-rotate and flip your screen horizontally.
    2. On your iOS device:
      1. Disable screen lock and flip your screen horizontally.
