In a corporate strategy presentation by Sony President and CEO Kenichiro Yoshida today, Sony announced that they have more than doubled their PlayStation Now subscriber base in the past year.
According to a slide in the presentation, PS Now had over 1 million subscribers as of March 2019. As of April 2020, PS Now has 2.2 million subscribers.
The slide also reads:
By changing the price and strengthening our catalog of games, including the addition of many AAA titles, we have expanded this service into one that has over 2.2 million paying subscribers as of the end of this April.
The presentation also revealed that the use of PS4 Remote Play has more than doubled in the past year.
